These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and InpaintingAI when you access inpaintingai.com or use its editing features. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it. Users under the age required by local law need permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
2. Acceptable use
You may use InpaintingAI for lawful personal or commercial editing. You may not generate or edit pornography or NSFW content; violence or gore; hate speech; child-unsafe content or CSAM; deepfakes or impersonation; or content that infringes copyright or trademarks. You also may not upload content you have no right to process, commit fraud or harassment, introduce malware, evade safety controls, disrupt the service, or use outputs in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

You are responsible for the images, selections, instructions, and uses of outputs associated with your request. We may block a request, withhold or remove a result, restrict generation, or suspend or terminate an account for safety, security, legal compliance, or service integrity.
3. Your images and generated content
You keep the rights you hold in images you upload. We do not claim ownership of user-uploaded images. You grant us and necessary processing providers a limited, non-exclusive right to host, transmit, transform, and process the content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the requested service.
Subject to law and third-party rights, you may use generated results. You are responsible for determining whether an output is suitable, protectable, accurate, and lawful for your intended use. AI systems can produce similarities or unexpected details, and the same or similar output may be generated for others.
4. AI result disclaimer
AI-generated results may not always be perfect. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before use. We do not claim ownership of user-uploaded images.
The service is provided as an editing aid, not as professional design, legal, authenticity, identity, or forensic advice. A result labelled “LOCAL PREVIEW · NO AI” is only an interaction test, does not read the prompt, and may differ from an AI provider result. We do not guarantee that an edit will be photorealistic, original, uninterrupted, or completed within a particular number of seconds.
Prompts and generated results are subject to automated safety checks. A blocked prompt is not sent to the generation provider, and a blocked result is not made available. Required safety checks fail closed when unavailable. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.
5. Free use, credit packs, and refunds
A verified device may use the published daily number of image edits without an account. An account is required to purchase and use paid credits. Every credit pack is a one-time purchase, does not renew automatically, and its unused purchased credits do not expire. One credit represents one billed output megapixel, rounded up to a whole megapixel for each separate model call. Server-side routing may select an available image model according to the edit type, marked area, model availability, access policy, and task complexity. A generation may contain up to three marks; marks are processed sequentially and charged separately, and model selection may differ between marks. Current limits and prices appear on thePricing page.
Purchased credits share one account balance across the Service's image tools and remain available until used, refunded, reversed for fraud or chargeback, or otherwise required by law. Legacy subscriptions are no longer offered for new checkout. Existing legacy subscriptions remain subject to the terms presented when purchased until canceled or ended.
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, a credit-pack purchase is non-refundable after any purchased credit has been used. Contact support for a duplicate charge or a confirmed failure to deliver purchased credits. Purchasing a credit pack does not start a subscription.
Credits tied to an AI request are not returned when an AI provider has already produced a billable output or otherwise incurred the actual provider cost; an uncertain request remains reserved until its provider status is reconciled.
6. InpaintingAI intellectual property
The service interface, code, brand, logo, documentation, and original site content belong to InpaintingAI or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. You may not copy, resell, frame, or create a confusingly similar service from protected portions of the product except as law permits.
7. Third-party services
Hosting, AI processing, analytics, advertising, and payment services may be provided by third parties. Their services and terms may affect availability or processing. We are not responsible for third-party products outside our control.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InpaintingAI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow every exclusion, so the limitations apply only to the extent allowed.
9. Suspension, changes, and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict access for violations, security risks, non-payment, or legal requirements. Provisions that logically survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms — remain effective.
10. Governing terms and contact
We will try to resolve concerns informally first. Contact us through the contact form or at support@inpaintingai.com. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence are not limited by these Terms. We may update the Terms, and material changes will be identified by a new date.
